If those surgical procedures prove inefficient then the doctors may go for transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) for removal of the prostate tissues. This process involves insertion of an electric loop through urethra which cuts the tissues as well as seals the blood vessels. The removed tissues are flushed out when the surgery ends. Tough this procedure has a very short recovery time there may be a side effect wherein the ejaculation may go into the bladder. This is not a serious side effect which may bother the patient.
